Real GM Role

Really enjoying OOTP 16 and want to only take those roles that a real GM would. What tasks should I take to experience this? Thanks

We don't know exactly, but if you play GM only, then that's the basics. You can trade, manage your farm, sign players, set some budgets, set your ticket prices, but cannot set your lineups or pitching staff - that is left to your manager.

What if I sign a player.. will my manager put in on the active roster and demote someone?
