All Star Game schedule

I am in the process of creating a fictional league which has a single league of 10 teams. I checked the box for holding an ASG during the process but when the league is created there is no ASG. I have manually editted the schedule to create a week off during which the game can be held but when I try to check the box in league settings, it won't allow me.

As I write this, I'm thinking it could be due to the league structure of having a single league? Would this prevent the creation of an ASG? I was hoping to have it set up similar to the NFL pro bowl where teams are selected not based on their conferences but simply on a draft style basis.

Correct, you need 2 sub leagues in order to have an all star game.

You either need 2 sub-leagues or an even number of divisions. If you have an even number of divisions then we split the divs in 2 groups to generate players for the game.

Clearly YMMV, but the NFL's new way of picking Pro Bowl rosters is beyond silly.

Not sure this works for non 2 Subleague setups yet guys..the code's in the game, but not sure it's active or buggy. I'm testing it now.

Yes, you can have an all-star game with only 2 divisions. Works perfectly. Here's a list of those non 2 subleague lgs. that have the all-star game built into the schedules I did for ootp 16
Eastern Lg. (In schedule)
Florida State Lg. (In schedule)
Midwest Lg. (In schedule)
N.Y.-Penn Lg. (In schedule)
South Atlantic Lg. (In schedule)
Southern Lg. (In schedule)
Texas Lg. (In schedule)

Eastern lg results.
Southern Div. beat the Northern Div. by a score of 2-1
