Short season schedule problems?

I posted this in the bug thread but now I'm wondering if it's a known issue without an easy solution.

I created a QuickStart based on current MLB structure but with fictional players. Since I play out all games I shortened the season to 82 games. Yes I remembered to clear the default schedule and generate a new one. In test seasons I'm only getting 76 game long seasons.

I also disabled inter-league games - I have not tested if that has anything to do with it. Guessing the problem has to do with no inter-league and two 15-team conferences.

Any thoughts?

You've got it right there. You can't have an odd number of teams in the subleagues without having interleague play.

Drats. Easy enough, either enable intra-league or expand/contract. Thank you.

Use one of the custom schedules in the mods section. That'll solve your problem. Look for a 30 team 82 game No interleague one.
You can have odd # of teams..it's just that ootp's built in scheduler can't handle it unless interleague is enabled. You need a custom schedule.
