Any Player mods/spreadsheets to estimate stats?

Hi,

I was just wondering if anybody has ever done a (simple) estimator for stats.

Maybe something using the Contact,Gap Power, HR Power, Eye, and Avoiding K's ratings and come up with estimates for Average and HR's.

If the scouting system is consistent maybe some of the long time OOTP owners have "uncovered" the estimating values.

If so would you consider sharing?

This was actually a feature added a few versions ago. If you're playing in Commish mode, as you edit a player's ratings in the Player Editor, estimated stats are displayed.

Located here, if you're looking. Note that the editor tab is the one selected. The projections are at the bottom right. For pitchers, scroll down further for a similar display.

Does it use current or projected ratings to give the estimate?

It uses current. I don't think there's a way to do the same for projected estimates (though it would be cool if there were). Of course, you could write down what the current ratings are, type in the potential ratings into those spots, check out the estimates then, and then put the correct current ratings back in, but that'd be a bit of a pain.
