Game Times in Schedules
Several game times listed in the 2015 MLB schedule are not correct (Indians have all 162 games listed as 7:30 pm start times). I did post this concern into the roster set thread.
I have also noticed when creating a 1987 MLB historical league that the game times listed in the schedules are somewhat out of whack. The Indians schedule has them playing west coast games (Seattle, Anaheim, etc.) at 1:05 AM and not 10:05 PM (eastern time). It seems as if some setting for those west coast teams is not quite correct, perhaps swinging the 3 hour time difference in the wrong direction when looking at a team from the east? What is the easiest way to export / edit / import the schedule so that a mass manipulation can be done on those odd times. Or perhaps is it easier yet to find the potentially incorrect setting and just change those on the offending teams. |

If it's anything like OOTP15, you should be able to go League Settings->Edit League Schedule. Then under the "Available Actions" drop-down menu, you can export the schedule to a file, perform corrections in the file, and then import the schedule back in

The MLB 2015 schedule definately has some game times wrong. Looks like Markus didn't update my old 2015 schedule which was done in Jan. It'll be fixed in the next patch. Even so, Cleveland does not play all their games at 7:30 so not sure what schedule your using. There's no easy way of fixing the game times for older schedules. For MLB years pre 2011, it's best to use the as played schedules.(the ones that end with c_ap_year.lsdl). You can also adjust your time zone setting in your managers screen to compensate for those west coast times of 1AM & such

Great news about the 2015 game times being updated in the next patch.
I made mention of the Indians playing all night games, because that is what I discovered when I started up the MLB default game.... that is how I noticed the issue. I did change the time zone settings for west coast teams and it seems to work fine. Such a change would not have any other impact in the game would it? |

Well, it'll cause all other tz's games to start earlier of course. EDT games 3 hrs. earlier etc.. I would suspect that it'll change those day/night stats for some. ![]() You could replace in the schedule all those time="2200" to time="1900" Just open the lsdl file in notepad or any text editor and replace time="22 with time="19 and time="21 to time="19 then save and reimport. Make sure you use time=" with the number else other stuff will get replaced as well. It won't be perfect, but you won't see any more games starting after midnight EDT. Attached is the updated schedule Last edited by Bigrod; 03-28-2015 at 04:26 PM. |

I think what may be happening is that some of the historical league schedule files may have the game start times all set to their Eastern Time value rather than local time. Thus when OOTP applies the time zone correction, it shifts the starts to later than they should for those games being played outside the Eastern time zone.
