Commissioner Import Error
I didn't want to dirty up the regular forums with this, so I'm hoping someone can lend me a hand in helping out a commissioner of a league I'm in. I don't run leagues often myself, so I'm a bit hazy to the process.
We had our first ever daily advance last night. When he went to import the files, all went well (he did not have the patch installed yet), however he then noticed some knucklehead released his entire organization out of spite. He reset the file (forgot to make a backup ugh), but then none of the previous working exports would take. A bunch of errors with 100 or 900 or something like that. Lastly, I'm not sure how he "reset" the file. I still have the pre-Friday file on my machine. I have installed the patch as well, but I'm wondering if there's a way I (asst. commish) can login and re-run the sim from last night with those original files (minus the rouge one). I hope someone sees this who understands this process more than me! THANK YOU! |

He needs to be very specific with you on exactly what he did.
What does he mean by reset the file? Did he download the league file that was never updated or what? If you have the correct file you could run the sim and take the imports but have him erase the export for the spiteful owner (who does that anyhow) or take them individually outside of that one team. You would just need the commish.dat files to do so. |

If he uploaded a new version of the league files, everybody needs to submit new exports because of the time/date stamp. It's a headache but necessary.
