OOTP17 Idea--Assistant to the Traveling Secretary
Really wish we had the opportunity to hire an Assistant to the Traveling Secretary for our teams. I think this would add to the immersion. Do you want your team staying in a Ramada Inn or a Doubletree....

Not only that George Costanza could finally make OOTP!
He could fix Danny Tartabul's swing, get the team in cotton uniforms, and drive the world series trophy around the parking lot.

I might actually enjoy that

Remember when we could schedule certain days in OOTP and It would increase attendance? Jon Voight day or even fitted cap day would be great promotions.

Yeah, but then the game will need desks that they can sleep under and add the raging need for calzones to the owner goals. Who wants to open that can of worms in terms of programming?

I understand that there are many on here who did not like this part of the game, but it was something that I really enjoyed. Wish it were still part of it.

If we're going to have assistants to the traveling secretary, we should also have the secretary to the assistant who can determine what is or isn't doable, and the this secretary can make more than the person for whom she works.

Wouldn't that secretary then need an assistant? And then we need a tech support guy just in case their systems go down.

The game also needs food vendors etc, etc.

I won't buy another OOTP game until all this is added........

I think that's a given that the Traveling Secretary will have to be included in next year's version.....

What I think the game needs is a way to differentiate between plane rides in the majors and bus rides in the minors. Maybe force you to wait for like five minutes after clicking on the play button if you are managing in the minors. This way there would be a real and tangible reward for getting promoted to the majors.....

You don't hear the food vendors when you play out a game? Did you think that sound clip was just random?
