I started an MLB default game, simmed a few years, had 2 expansions (Richmond Virginians, Las Vegas Aces in 2025; Nashville Generals and Portland Lumberjacks in 2028) and then this gem of a pitcher popped up in the Majors. He's too damn good not to share right now even though his reign of terror may continue for several more seasons.....

2034 to 2037: 4 straight AL Cy Youngs; 4 straight pitching Triple Crowns (led all of MLB); back to back AL MVP's (2034, 2035). This is up there with Greg Maddux's run from 1992 to 1995 and Randy Johnson's run from 1999 to 2002.

I had a guy similar to that in one of my fictional leagues. He was the only player to ever win my Golden Arm award in 4 straight seasons, he won the Triple Crown in the first and fourth of those, and missed it by a few strikeouts in the second and a single win in the third.

Unfortunately, I stopped playing that game before his career ended, or I likely would have re-named the Golden Arm award in his honor.
