Using The Seattle Mariners
Like the title says I just started playing the game using Seattle. Now I get that this team outside of Felix, Cano and Seager this team may not have what it takes right off the bat to go deep into the playoffs. But they do have one of the best Minor League systems in baseball with DJ Peterson, Ketel Marte, Alex Jackson, Dom Leone the list goes on and on. Ive made one trade because my goals were to upgrade first base "Logan Morrison" and trade for a nationally popular player. So why not kill two birds with one stone? Jose Abreu was the answer to both of those goals. I guess what it comes down to for winning with the Mariners may be how you set the batting order. If anyone is doing well with Seattle please help! Im currently 4-3 tied for first with Oakland.

What's your goal? I assume it's playoffs and world series.
I don't think we can help you much on reaching your goal, but if you have knowledge in baseball today you can see who you'd want to target to make your team better. I suggest looking for upgrades at positions you are bad at and work from there. Maybe trade some of your prospects for good major leaguers to get you to the playoffs and hopefully win the world series. It comes down to how you want to build your team. When I first started OOTP I was the Yankees and decided I would go all in every year for the World Series. I would trade my prospects for good MLB players and would sign many free agents and trade for only good MLB players as well. I ended up winning 3 World Series' from 2014-2023. Other games I decide to rebuild and not sell the farm. I started off OOTP 16 with the Yankees and this time went into a rebuild. I won 3 World Series' from 2015-2030 with my first being in 2020 due to my rebuilding phase. I'll just say I played the game quite stupidly and weirdly when I first bought it. But now that I've been playing for a year I have branched out to more elaborate types of games/playing styles. I'm still a noob too! But what I love about this game is that if you understand the game of baseball in real life, you'll be a good OOTP player in the game. (Provided your settings are done in such a way) I love that. That's all I have for you today
