Seems to crash more often than 15 did

15 used to only crash on startup, this one does at random times. Not a huge deal, cause I auto save once a week. Anybody else having this problem?

I haven't had it crash once yet

Then again, never had any of the previous versions crash on me either that I can remember

Maybe it has to do with Windows 8.

No crashes at all for v.16. Mac OS X (10.10.2). That's not to say the crashes you're seeing are your fault, of course. Backup the current game often.

I still have crashes but WAY WAY less then 15. I had the steam crashing issue which made the game ultimately unplayable.

I play two different installs, one on Windows 8 and the other on 7. Only crashes on Windows 8, except the one time I raged after losing my third straight playoff run in the first round and clicked way too fast.

Unless they 'drastically' improve Windows 10 from its current state LOTS of current software is gonna crash as often as .....well lets just say a lot... Longest I have gone is 2 work days without a crash/freeze using all my required apps as we are testing it in its current preview status. That PC is getting reimaged this week back to 8.

It is really, really, really bad with apps requiring java, they rarely can be ended normally and half the time cannot be ended at all except a reboot

In my opinion XP was the best version ever..... my last computer ran for over 10 years with it with no problems. In fact, I'd still be running it if Microsoft was still providing support and updates for it.

I run OOTP on a Linux Mint platform,
but inside a VM vrirtual machine running Windows XP. Never a crash.
If there was ever a setup giving a game the chance to crash, this could be one of them, as the XP/VM Display Hardware Adapters are synthisized.
It runs flawless, and the only way I have played this game over all the years.
There's other benefits too, (I'll list just one), like running the game in full screen (but in the background in a tab), so no more alt-tab glitches if your system is prone to them.

Once in a week crash and only on start up. I had one crash since release on completing a played out game. I am on the evil Windows 8.

Only reason I have Win7 on this laptop is b/c when I got this one no companies were offering new laptops that came with XP installed

on windows 8.0 and has had several crashes and when I reboot it seems to go away for a while. I have learned if I play the game much of the day it will freeze or crash.

I have windows 8.1 I think it is and the only time the game crashes for me is if I am simulating and turn it in the background and can't get it back

No crashes on Win 7 or Win 8.1. Even in beta I was impressed with the lack of crashes ie almost none.
