League Reputation and AI evaluation Settings

Can anyone explain the correlation between league reputation and AI evaluation settings?

I am running a 5-tier Promotion/Relegation League. I have set the financials to distinctly separate the levels and have seen good movement from top to bottom in the early seasons. As I read through posts from others who are running similar leagues, I see that there are a couple of different theories on how to set the AI evaluation... some stating to set the ratings weight low (as low as zero) and some say to set it very high, to ensure that the best rated players get the high salary bids and move to the top tiers... I currently have mine set at 10/60/20/10 and as stated have seen pretty good movement.

What I am wondering is, does the AI take the league reputation into consideration when evaluating a players stats? i.e. If a player with a .300/.450/.600 slash line is evaluated the same if he is playing in a 10 rated league as opposed to a 7 rated league? or is the league reputation only used by the players as they decide the value of offers from teams in different leagues.

Any input, advice or comments are greatly appreciated.

This is a good question, although I don't think it should be the reputation the AI is considering when evaluating statistics but instead the relative league quality, which we know the game can calculate because it is able to evaluate ratings based on the league.

Another question is whether it takes the league totals into account. So, if a league is set up to have generally higher or lower offensive output does the game understand that? I'm going to guess that it at least indirectly considers it just because WAR accounts for it and I'm assuming the AI is looking at WAR as part of its' statistical evaluation.
