Maybe one day, but I haven't touched this in some time now and not sure when I will again.

To Rocknfire 7: I just had the same thing. Ballcap creator and logo creator are still fine. On the Jersey creator all I did was change the font from curved to straight and that was it. Same screen as being shown with the same error box. And yes there was a windows update just recently. Something is not right. When I go to my internet home page, I now have to sign in EVERY time. Before it would auto sign me in. No more since the update.

Now I'm screwed. I uninstalled the jersey creator so I could reinstall it. Now it won't even start. I get some error that says, create process failed, code 740. The requested operation requires elevation.

Try running as administrator.

Running as administrator worked to start it. I ran it that way before. For some reason, now when I go to change the text from curved to straight, it crashes just like rocknfire 7 stated earlier. If it is from a windows update, I don't know which update it was. I even tried to restore to before the updates and that didn't work, either. Might have something to do with the .NET framework updates. Some other people I know where having trouble running a golf game they have. After the update, it wouldn't work anymore.
I just tried making a jersey and soon as I changed from curved to straight text, I get the error. Thanks for helping, Justafan. |

I don't know if a newer version of the Microsoft .NET framework would cause this. I wouldn't think so, but stranger things have happened. I coded this targeting version 4.0 of the framework. |

Just tried it again. Everything is good until I need to add the text. Once I change it to straight, that does it. I found the golf forum where someone mentioned the updates where causing him problems. He said he uninstalled the update (KB3023224) which is one of the .NET framework updates. That worked for his game. I tried it also. No luck, so I reinstalled it. What's weird is no problems with the cap creator or the logo creator. If I find something out, I will let you know. Thank you.
Also, maybe it was one of the other updates. There were like 9 updates that day. ????? Last edited by zappa1; 05-23-2015 at 07:21 PM. |

I'm having the same issue as rocknfire & zappa now, too. Every time I try to change fonts or change the orientation from curved to straight. Might be time for an update!

Update what? If I can't duplicate the problem, I can't fix the problem.

Well, I'm just thinking, maybe it'll go away? Maybe it's unique to the last update? Hell, I don't know, just spitballin'. Add some shoulder layers or something.

Justfan, I got back to working again. I had to run system restore back to May 11th, 2 days before the windows update. It took awhile 'cause my system locked up and I had to use the recovery disc to run system restore. Everything is fine, now. Now my windows update has 17 updates. I'm thinking if I take my time and install them one by one checking after each install to see if the jersey program is ok, I might be able to find out which of those updates is causing the problem. Long night. I'll rest up and give it a go tomorrow. It must be in those updates somewhere. Keep you posted.
By the way, I'm running Vista 64 bit. After the restore, I ran my malware bytes and got 19 problems all with the registry. Cleaned everything up. The jersey creator is running fine, now. I'll see if I can't narrow down which update it was. Last edited by zappa1; 05-24-2015 at 01:01 AM. |

If you can "pin down" the culprit (I, like Justafan, suspect a .NET framework update), then it'll help. |

Hello Justafan, ArcAngel and everybody else who had this issue. Good, good morning!!!! I have indeed found the update that is causing my problem.
It was a security update for Vista X64-based systems. It's (KB 3045171) When I install this update, I get the crash. I uninstalled this update and the jersey creator program is fine. I was at it early this morning and one by one eliminated each update until I found the one that caused it. I have installed all the other updates except the one problem update and everything is fine. This problem (KB 3045171) also caused my golf game to crash. Now, that game is also fine. I don't know how this pretains to everybodys systems, but, I am running Vista 64 bit. Good luck everyone. All of the .NET framework updates were fine. No problems there. Last edited by zappa1; 05-24-2015 at 09:46 AM. |

I'd like to upgrade to 7 but don't know if my programs would still work. And finding a copy of 7 upgrade version isn't all that easy to find. My 'puter IS old. hahaha lol Sooner or later, I guess I'll have to do it.

Can others having trouble confirm that it's a Vista only problem? |
