Spent his first two seasons in Oakland, then became a free agent, where I then signed him to a 6-year deal, and have went through 5 extensions since, along with only 1 minor (2 day) injury.

Started to see a drop off in stats at age 38, but something told me to stick with him. He started the current year at 75/75, but has since dropped way off to 40/40. I think this may be his last year, despite having 1 more year left on his contract.

He is also the only pitcher in 14 seasons of league history with over 4,000 K's. The next closest is 2757.

2x Cy Young, 1x Triple Crown, 1x Gold Glove, 4x All Star, 6x World Champion, and 2x Playoff Series MVP.

Definate HOF'er for sure - question is - at what percentage? Certainly at least 97%, possibly unanimous?

He'll certainly have a comfortable retirement. $27.6 million in 1886 translates to over $720 million present day.

LOL - yea, he made out quite well.

I used the financials and modifiers from 2014 since I wanted my league history to be "even" across the board.

Final stats for this guy as he decided to retire after the 1885 season. He has set the benchmark for K's with over 4,000 - currently the only player to reach that plateau.

Definate first ballot HOF'er I think, going to get at least 97%.
