MLB Quickstart players, what's the fastest you've seen the Cubs end their drought?

Cubs finally ended their drought in my game at 110 years, winning it all in the 2018 season. Kyle Schwarber has been a real stud for them and won the WS MVP. He's made the all-star game and won best hitter at catcher each of the seasons he's started as well (called up in 2016).

Also a fun note; The Pirates won the WS the year before. Nice to see those two teams turning it around.

They did not have a winning season in my league until 2067. I moved them out of Chicago in 2066.

In my EBL vs MLB league which i started with the 1999 season the Cubs won it all in 2002.. 2018 - 2023 they are always in the playoffs but tend to lose to the Mets. They lost the 2022 WS to Baltimore.Stats below from 2002. Most of the 2015 Cubs are on other teams or are not in baseball at all. I do not have Schwarber in my game at all and Bryant never played minor league ball as he was released when i brought over minor leaguers prior to the 2013 season. Addison Russell is a good SS with the Dodgers, Baez plays on Coruscant. Rizzo was a dud. Soler has been very good and is still on the Cubs.

I tried running the Cubs at first and made a lot of moves etc to make them better. Made the playoffs three times up to 2018 but they never won. Then I left for SF and started winning titles, Cubs have never gone back to the playoffs since 2018 (and it's now 2029.)

This season (2017) they won the Central and are headed to the playoffs.

They are first in the MLB in HR's and signed David Price to a 5 year deal in 2015.

Well that was short lived.. Colorado beat then 3-1 in the NLDS.

My one and only QS for 16 . . . BAM!
Won the Central by 4 games and had an easy time in the post season, Wash in 4, LAD in 5, Oak in 5.

Made the playoffs 9 of the first 11 seasons, two pennants, only title was 2015.

I've gone 38 seasons in a historical, best they've ever done is a lone division title in 1984. Currently in 1999.

the cubs became a dynasty in my game, winning the world series 4 straight years 2017-2020...

in my solo league when I learned how to import my stuff from OOTP 13 the cubs began in 2013 and made world series but lost in 2017 and in 2022. However in 2023 they won the world series. They did make another run in 2034 but lost again.
