updated rosters
Does anyone think there's a chance of there being updated rosters at any point? Maybe not now, but sometime between now and say the winter? I remember a few years ago there was a quickstart with updated rosters sometime after the world series I think, and I'd love for that to be the case again.
also..are there any players right now on any team or a free agent in baseball that doesn't show up in OOTP? I can only think of one David Carpenter I'm not sure if there are any others. |

Yes!
![]() There really is! I don't know how much of a chance there is. haveband and I have discussed releasing updated rosters, but we're battling life issues and some burnout as well. So while we'd like to do so, it may or may not happen in the end. We'll give it our best shot though, and hopefully it'll work out! If not, well there's always OOTP17! Seriously, I appreciate those who attempt to keep rosters up-to-date. They have a thankless job that gets tedious. I attempted to just keep one team - the Cincinnati Reds - updated. Every now and then, you find players still on rosters who have been cut, and adding waiver wire pick-ups and such.
You scour transactions pages from about four or five different websites because if you rely upon just one site, you might get unreliable information. So you have to compare information and if you can confirm a transaction a couple ways, then you can pretty much take it as accurate. Finding several sources of accurate minor league transactions is difficult. I certainly appreciate the effort made by those who do keep up with such information! |

I am new to OOTP the last 2 years. I have been trying with no success to update rosters on my own. How do I update more than just my team or is it possible to keep a master roster updated that I can use to start a season with at any time??

It's a work in progress and I have a v 1.1 uploading to my one drive, but all the deadline deals are there as well as the majority of the MLB transactions this season |

1.Atlanta - They were always on TBS and easy to follow, I live in Kansas but like rooting against local teams, and the guy that i was always next to in school thanks to lining up by last name was a Cards fan and I strongly dislike them! 2. Detroit - Family is from there. 3. Toronto - Grew up with 2 friends, 1 a Yankees fan, 1 a Red Sox fan, so I rooted for a different team in the division. Chris Carpenter, Raul Mondesi, Carlos Delgado, Vernon Wells, Jose Bautista..to this day we all play an online franchise as those 3 teams. I still follow all 3... Who is your favorite current player? I have a few! |
