Revocable waivers
I'm playing a standard mlb game and am in August but I can't seem to figure out how to place a player on revocable waivers (I can only see option for irrevocable waivers). Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks |

OOTP doesn't model the real-life waiver process exactly. There's no way to put someone on revocable waivers directly. For the purposes of post-deadline waiver trades, for example, what happens in OOTP is that you conduct the trade first. Then all players in the trade are put on waivers. If they clear waivers, then the trade is completed. If another team claims one of them, then all the players are automatically pulled back to their original teams and the trade is canceled.

Thanks for your quick response.
So, if I go to the waiver wire page, is there a way I can see which one of the players on there is there because of an impending trade (so I can put in a claim to stop the trade but not end up with the player)? |

No, not that I'm aware of.

Revocable waivers do exist. I'm not clear on the exact criteria for it. It may be young players less than 5 years as pro, on the 40-man but not on the 25-man roster.
![]() However the good news is that when you put one of these players on waivers a dialogue box pops up asking if you want to remove him if claimed.

You will receive an email as to if it was your player of which is named and each email showing each individual team that claimed your player. if the player claimed from other team usually is not named and teams claiming that player is not always mentioned
