Feeders and Independent Leagues
Alright, so I am attempting to create a baseball setup where there are multiple Major League level organizations around the country. These are much more regionally located than baseball is in real life.
I would like to create a system in which they don't have drafts and minor league systems beyond 1 lower level league where they can put players, but instead sign players from independent leagues which do have drafts from feeders. My question is, is there a way to make the independent leagues less talented in the PCM, but still have the feeders produce major league caliber players with the PCM? I would edit free agent setting for this independent league so players get free agency sooner, and that the independent league has lower reputation/financials, so that the players would be more inclined to leave, theoretically creating a minor league system independent of affiliation. I just am curious if anyone has any experience with this, if it is possible, and what would be the best way to attack this? |
