Just Wondering

Love this game but it can get so frustrating.
Just curious about this. Do any of you deal with his. My opponents make these spectacular catches all the time. My guys just miss and it turns into a double. And my pitchers hit at least one batter a game. And the walks add up sometimes.
I guess like Bill Virdon said when he managing the Astros "Well, that's baseball." Still would like to know your thoughts and how you deal with it.

Stop watching the White Sox. You just described the White Sox season basically.
How good is your fielding? How is your pitchers control? i had one guy have 3 Balks in one inning to lose the game. He balked in the winning run.

I just know it's a bad string of luck. I think OOTP models MLB very well. Not just statistically but the really the game itself. The ups, downs, frustrations, and elations. And because of that sometimes the ball just doesn't bounce your way regardless of team talent. If the talent is there will likely be a ying to the yang and balance out in the end.

You are so right. As a sports writer I have covered baseball many years and seen things go high and sink real fast or the opposite. Remember covering the Texas League back in the ;ate 1980s and El Paso was going through all kinds of bad things. You name it happened. After one loss in San Antonio, their manager said "Right now. we're a bunch of snake-bit ------.: A few weeks later they went on a roll and ended up winning the Division. Once again "That's Baseball."
