Need help!!

Hey guys, I just purchased OOTP16 from the Apple App Store for my iMac. I downloaded the game just fine but when I go to open the game I get this window message (photo A). When I click "close" it brings me to the opening screen when starting the game for the first time, but when I go to click on "No, I don't want help" it won't click on it. When I try to exit the game, it brings up the "Are you sure you want to exit" and again when trying to click "No" or "Yes" it won't click. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you so much in advance!!

not meaning to sound condescending, but did you follow the directions in the last paragraph? Re-install, start as an admin, or install to a custom folder?

In the future, never buy from the mac store. it is not a good platform if you want quick updates or full control. Buy directly from the ootp store or even steam

Ugh, they're normally so good. Do you have a ticket #?

So, when you reinstalled, it behave exactly the same way?

What is the ticket number?

Yes I have re-installed it 5 times and does the same thing. Ticket #12780

Alright, unfortunately, I know zippo about Macs, so I can't really offer any help, but I'll see if I can figure out where your ticket fell through the crack.

i have a mac but i'm not sure what the issue could be. It says that it cannot write to that folder. have you checked your permissions?

he did buy off the mac store which i believe doesn't allow for custom installs

Then could he move it over to a new folder? I think it all is about the location of the download. I didnt know macs wont let you choose where you want a file to download to when its on the mac store...Just trying to help, because I know how id feel if I couldnt play.....

i'm not really sure. i hated the mac store version so much last year i actually bought the ootp version when it went on sale

Ive got the Steam version. It seems to work great and automatically updates...
