Evolution and minor leagues

Here is a stupid question:

If I begin a game with an original franchise, I will start with reserve rosters. Correct? Will the minor leagues evolve naturally, or do I have to manually do that?

Depends on what year you start in. If you start when minors didn't exist, then yes you'll have to add them manually.

If you start in a year when minors were already in place, then they'll be included.
