Correct historical position

I am just starting the 2000 season, I play historical, and NYY chuck Knoblach shows up as a LF as his only position, he didn't move to LF until 2001. How can I get him to be rated as a 2B which he actually played 82 games there in 2000?

I started the historical in 1996.

Change the fielding from 3 yr to import year. League settings - Historical. This way when 2001 comes it wont list him as a 2B also where he no longer played the rest of his career. Might want to change stamina to 1 yr also. Smoltz will sometimes stay as a SP when he had that great year as a CL, then stay as a CL when he had gone back to being a SP.

Well, you can always play him at 2nd even without the ratings. He'd still probably do better than what he did historically
