				Lost a 1-hitter 8-2

Historical replay started in 1974 - random debut - I manage the Dodgers. He gave up the base hit in the 8th. http://imgur.com/K8NZIk5 Last edited by camerainmyhand; 08-29-2015 at 01:42 PM. |

This is the reason why baseball is my favorite sport, the fact that such oddball stuff like this can happen.

Nice. I used to keep books for HS baseball games and if you want to see some really wacko box scores, watch HS baseball. Stuff like four runs yielded in a no-hitter, catcher's interference called three times in an inning, or my favorite, the ever-popular double-no-hitter that ended 3-2. I don't have my old books anymore but I had a kid pitch 7 innings one night, give up a single hit (on a bunt, no less), walk 11, but yielded no runs. |

It looks like the only hit was made by a pinch-hitter. They scored 8 runs without anyone in the starting lineup getting a hit. That's incredible!
