MLB roster update released! (as of September 1st)

Hey guys,

our roster team has spent the past months updating the rosters and player ratings (both MLB and minor league players), so we figured we release the current state as a roster update (as of September 1st) from the Add-Ons Central dialog in the game. The game date is still Opening Day, though.

To install, go to the Add-Ons Central and look for "2015 Quickstart and World Template, Rosters as of Spet 1st". Click on "Download" next to it and once it's complete on "Install".

This will add a new quickstart game and add a world template file to the template folder.

If you want to use the rosters as the default when using "New Standard Game" from the main menu, please follow this instruction:
- Open the settings dialog in the game ("File" menu or from the start screen)
- Click the "Troubleshooting" tab
- Click the button "Open folder containing customizable data"
- Browse to the "world_templates" folder
- Rename the file "default.wtp" to something like "default_backup.wtp"
- Rename the file "default_sept_1.wtp" to "default.wtp"
- Now when you start a standard game, the updated rosters will be used by default.

does the draft include all the players in the drafT?

Not all. Everyone from the first 20 rounds was added, and the majority of the players from later rounds are there as well. A few of the lower rated guys may not show up because of the 1100 player cap on the in-game draft, but the vast majority of all the draft guys are there, and all of the best/most important are there for sure.

Nah! If they were that good they'd have correct standings as of September 1st for every league and correct draft picks for every team.

Hey all,

To let you guys know what was fully worked on.

We went through and updated all 30 teams 25 and 40 man rosters as of the 31st, one day before Sept. 1st callups. All trades, releases and FA signings are in there. I also have updated all minor league levels from AAA down to SS ball are done. So all the releases, the epic number of retirements, etc are there as well. We've also updated some of the Indy league rosters and added hundreds of those players as well. And like Markus said, we tweaked some MLB players ratings, but not everyone. For the minors, I changed a lot of players ratings especially for some of the top players making their 2015 MLB debuts.

I think that's it......the work is never ending

is most ofi it is all the players that was draft and sign in real life at least right? and damn i wish u can maybe have another with the drafted players on the roster so i dont have too much work to do besides updating picutres lolol

oh right yea i know i wish u have done that less work for me heheis there any way i port them out into roster or only way is create it myself or draft each player
