Ability to sort players by Championships?

I wasn't sure if I should throw this in the 16 Suggestions or put it here since the official forum for it is up but anyways. Would any one else like to see the option to be able to sort players throughout the game by home many championships they won? I know you can go to each individual player and go under there accomplishments and see but i was kinda hoping there would be an easier way to look at it rather than having to scroll through all of there accomplishments to find how many they won.

You won't be able to sort per se but see here for how you will be able to see them on the player page

I think, and the OP can correct me if I'm wrong, he means he wants a seperate section that flaunts players championships. Maybe as part of the achievements page as an extra category for most championships won after 4 or something along those lines.

I would love this feature as its not really in the game right now, but is a huge part of sports as a whole. For instance Tom Brady just won his fourth Super Bowl and I thought that was the most of all time, but then it turned out some Cowboy had 5. Interesting stuff right? This would be a big improvement for the game

one flaw is if the game is still going to count winning a championship as being on the 25 man roster for the championship series.

if i recall being an MVP caliber player all season but getting hurt before the series and missing it the game doesn't mention "WON THE 1911 WORLD SERIES WITH !!!!" in their profile. that would have to be fixed.

As it stands now players who even make an appearance at any point during the year get a ring for championship teams.

I don't think this is right - I've seen the championship line included even if they played a few games and then got hurt all season.

Yep. Example:

Jayden Guthrie suffered a SEI early on in the season, and is still out injured, so certainly wasn't on the playoff roster, but he's still credited as part of the Championship-winning team in his history section.

Am I wrong or is that how that's handled in real life?

Is there any way to confirm or look this up?

Wikipedia (Major League Baseball transactions) says: "All players on the team's roster during the season will be eligible to receive a World Series ring after the team wins the World Series."

But there's no reference link to verify where they got that from, and the other stuff i've found (Baseball Almanac, etc) isn't totally clear.

"Rings are paid for by MLB team owners, with the recipients of the rings ultimately at their discretion...World Series rings are typically provided to each player on the active roster, in addition to injured team members who may be inactive. Players no longer with the team that appeared in one or more games over the season are sometimes granted rings as well."

Anyone on the active roster at any point during the season in real life almost always gets a ring. Even if he's been traded to another team and they win a title. It's pretty much that way in all of the US pro sports. At least customary, because the idea is you were a part of them winning the championship.

Really would like to sort by rings, mostly because I'd like to see when a guy has won more rings on more than one team.

That wasn't always the case, tho, cuz as recently as 2004 I remember there being a lot of debate around here (southern New England) among fans and talk show hosts about whether Nomar would or should get a ring, and there was a lot of surprise when it was announced that not only would he get one, but everyone who'd been on the roster during the season would, too. So I don't know if all the other WS winners in the years since have followed suit, but it definitely started with the '04 Red Sox...

The debate wasn't about whether he'd get a ring. It was about voting him a playoff share. Which is an entirely different thing.

I dredged this up because the game really needs a sort-by championships feature.
