Draft Question / Help

If you view the Rookie Draft Pool Report on the League Reports home page, you may see certain players that are not available to actually draft. I can select the players off the report and also search for their names and view their player cards. However, they are not in the draft pool.

Can someone please help?

just taking some stabs in the dark. i really don't look at the pool before the draft unless i intend on trading up in the draft (i allow pick trading in my settings). so, i can't say i see this happening or not happening to me.

is this a real world league? there are a few years of pre-made real-world amateurs in these types of games. maybe there is a possibility of them opting out and going into next year's draft?

in later years or a fictional league, a specific amount of players are created based on settings, therefore they don't have this possibility? i don't think i see this happening in my fictional league, so i am not sure.

possibly the report is just giving extra info.... on purpose or accident?

keep an eye out for those names in future drafts. it's likely that what you are experiencing is normal or at least supposed to happen.

Under their status they reflect eligibility for future years' drafts.

i think i recall seeing this with real world amateurs. it's not likely this sort of problem would slip by all the people that play it, since it's a very visible part of the game. obviously, i'm not one of the people that would notice, but at least someone would notice, i think.
