Quick question on league transfer

I thought I would try here first before going to tech support.

I attempted to transfer a league to a new computer. Everything seemed to work but I just noticed (after playing 20 days of game time) that the histories didn't transfer over. Career numbers are there but indiv. player history such as "PIcked round 1 pick 1 in 2012" or "made all-star team in 2015" or 'pitched 2-hitter in AA' are not there anymore.

What did I do wrong, and is there a way to save it without losing the 20 days I have played?

When you say you transferred it, exactly what did you do?

Did you copy the ".lg" folder over to the saved games folder on the new computer?

Did you import from a previous version of OOTP?

Also - do you still have a copy of the ".lg" folder from before you "transferred" the league?

Sorry I should have been clearer. I went into the saved games folder on the old machine copied the .lg folder and pasted it into the saved games folder on the new machine.

It was an ootp 16 to 16 transfer same build (old comp is most recent game build)

I do still have the original files on the old computer that's how I noticed I had old transactions on old comp that are not showing on the new comp in my current season on new computer. It was May 6 of year when copied and may 5 transactions are only on showing in logs on old machine not new one.

So basically all news events (transactions/league events/entire player 'general accomplishment' history) do not appear on the new computer

** I also have the files on my external device that I used to transfer between computers

Did the same game date show when transferred?

Go into your league setup and make sure that saving transactions, news logs, etc wasn't somehow disabled.

If nothing else, delete the current one and copy it over again. Make sure the messages.dat file is in the lg folder.
