Splits question

So this may seem like a silly question, but... How can you see double splits these days? I'm about to start a new season and I want to look at how my hitters did against lefties last year, but on the lineup screen there isn't a double split option. So with the first split I choose "Last Year" and then I can't see their L/R split...

Am I missing something obvious?

It seems the double split option is only reliably available in player search screen and not other screens - and even then some of the options only work as the first split.

Here's a screen shot of lineup page in one of my fictional leagues. Dbl split shows and has full options.

I don't have any non-stat components on my VIEW and while I get a full menu of options in DOUBLE SPLIT, none of them does anything.

There is a certain logic to double splits that may not be obvious. You can't double split all views on the original split.

For example split left double split May does not work but split May double split left does.

This screenshot shows split home double split left. The reverse does not work.

I was noticing this too. Unfortunately, neither Last Year / Left <--> Left / Last Year nor Career / Left <--> Left / Career seem to work.

For that to work last years splits and all career splits would have to be stored in the dat file. I suspect that would bloat the file significantly.

Mkay. So, let me ask you then...

Brand new season, I'm trying to set my lineups vs RHP and LHP. So I have no current year stats. What would you suggest I look at to know who to play versus righties or lefties?

I guess part of the problem is that I'm playing stats-only so I don't really have a way to base this off of player ratings... I can see the splits fine on an individual player level if I go into the Batting Stats of the Player Profile, so that's an option. It's just tedious.

Yeah it's not ideal. My best suggestion is to make a copy of your league file at the end of the season and you could use it to look at your players. Best I got.

But it keeps the splits for every year in the player profile screen. Player>Batting Stats>Career Batting Stats>Split vs Right/Left
