Quick Question About Minor Leagues
So in my fictional game, I have 2 AAA, 2 AA, 2 Advanced A, 2 Low-A, 2 Short Season and 2 Rookie Ball leagues, each with 12 teams per league. Right now the game is a little slow. If I combine so I have just 1 of each league, will that cut down on sim time?
so basically does 2 AAA leagues take more time than 1? |

I would say maybe a tiny bit, but it would be running the same amount of games each day, which is where your slow time frame is coming from.
What does a little slow mean? How fast are you simming? |

OOTP is like any software, the more data it has to save the longer it takes to run. In OOTP, more leagues and more players leads to more data. The older your league gets, the more data it will accumulate, the slower it will run. So yes, getting rid of 6 teams in each organization will speed up your sims. |

That was how I read the question as well- if it's 24 teams either way, I don't think he'll see any appreciable reduction in sim time.

Yeah. I wouldn't delete any teams, just condense to 1 AAA, 1 AA, 1 A+, 1 Low-A, 1 Short-Season, 1 Rookie.
