High number of scheduled double headers?

Compared to the modern day game, I seem to have a high number of scheduled double headers. I've even seen some being a home at home double header Anyway, do you seem to get 4 or 5 per year like I do?

OOTP might have carried rainouts over to a later season for whatever reason. Can you post a screenshot of your team's monthly schedule?

i think it does carry them over, or if you make a manual edit it will carry over all other changes whether manually done or not... i manually remove the all-star game every year. so, i'm not sure if that is part of it.

i've definitely had this problem with rainouts from previous year being retained in the following year.

simple solution, re-import from the original schedule during the preseason. get into a habit of verifying your schedule at that point... because there is nothing you can do after that point, except manually fix things.

i believe you can also re-do/randomize matchups of the schedule on the options or schedule editing screen? if so, do that and export the file as xxxx-1.lsdl, xxxx-2.lsdl, xxxx-3.lsdl etc... (refer to manual for naming schedules for rotational use).

you can create as many as you want to rotate through. if named properly, it will cycly through them and likely avoid the problems you are currently seeing, since a new schedule will be loaded from a file automatically each year. even if it's the same file renamed you can make that happen... but then no new schedule each year.. always the same order and matchups. that's the benefit of exporting new schedules from the game, as explained above.

I have a GMO schedule that goes 30 seasons before repeating.

Yeah, need more data here.

Assuming you are correct, OOTP most certainly should NOT do that. If it is doing that, I'd have to say that was an oversight in how postponements in the schedule were handled.

I checked my schedule at the beginning of the year and it looks like they aren't scheduled. I guess I just get a lot of rainouts.
