Anyone have anything for Gene Michael with the Red Sox. It appears he was on the roster for the first few weeks of the 1976 season but never appeared in a game for them.

Correct on Gene Michael. He's also in the first edition of the 1976 Red Sox yearbook which you can find on eBay for as little as $5.

Fritz Peterson must have been referring to pitcher John Schroeppel. See John Schroeppel Register Statistics & History | Baseball-Reference.com

Schroeppel was on the Yankees' spring roster in 1966 and 1967.

The photo which was in question is on the left. A known photo of Schroeppel is on the right. They are a bit difficult to compare, but the noses look the same to me. I think Fritz nailed it.

The ever-diligent Merkle pegged that ID back on October 21. But Peterson and the photo reinforce it.

1934 Tuck Stainbeck

From a Dodgers-rich Lexibell file, first baseman Tuck Stainback (1938-39), taken in spring of 1939.
After the Dodgers moved to Los Angeles, Stainbeck came on board as a ticket salesman, leading to a 20-year career as a Dodgers' executive.

Leo and 1942 Dodgers' Rookie Class

A photo taken in spring training of 1942, when the Dodgers were based in Havana, shows manager Leo Durocher getting acquainted with his rookies.
Among the young Dodgers are, front row left to right: Ed Albosta, Bob Chipman, Ciff Dapper, Jack Graham and Ed Head.
Second row, left to right: Chet Kehn, Emil Lochbaum, Tom Tatum, Les Webber and Dixie Howell.
Lochbaum was the only one of the group who never reached the majors. Head was the stadout of the group, winning 10 games in 1942. Walker, who would be traded to Cincinnati, did not suit up for the Dodgers until 1943. Dapper was in a memorable trade for broadcaster Ernie Harwell in 1948. BTW, Dapper passed away only five years ago at the age of 91.
Photo originally taken by Barney Stein for the Sporting News,. Found in a Lexibell folder.

Obscure Blue Jay Pitchers 1980-1983

I am looking for color shots of three Blue Jay pitchers from the early 1980s, Ken Schrom, Dale Murray and Dave Geisel. Anything of Mark Eichhorn in his first Toronto incarnation (1982) would also be super. Thanks a lot.

The only two in the Vault so far aren't what you'd expect -- with the Cardinals in the spring of 1970. He pitched only four minor league games with them before moving on to Montreal.

While I realize when Mark originally came up he wore #28, here are two color and non-card pics that may fit your needs.... Not sure exactly where I originally located them...
