Draft pool out, not seeing stats for prospects?

I am playing real MLB, and in both my second and third season, when the draft pool is announced, at least half of the top 10 listed have no stats? And what's worse, I have a 30 round draft set up, and after round 15 to 17, 95% of the players have no stats? I can't remember this ever happening in my past games, and wanted to see if there is something I need to do in settings to fix this. I don't use feeder leagues by the way.

This makes things extremely frustrating, as I'm playing stats only.

These are real guys for whom we don't have stats, and the game doesn't currently auto-generate stats for them.

If you hate that, you can go into commishioner mode, delete the entire draft pool, then move the date of the pool reveal ahead a few days and the game will auto generate a fictional draft pool and those guys will have stats.

They're fictional. I'm in the year 2018, so these would be all fictional players. I'm starting the draft now, and out of the 864 college and hs batters listed, only 65 are showing stats? And out of the 274 starting pitchers, only 51 have stats?

There are still plenty of real guys in 2018

That's almost certainly what you're seeing.

So eventually, will I see these players have stats for their HS and College careers?

Normally, I play fictional, so it's been awhile for me playing a game with real players, starting in 2015. Thanks for the quick response.

Yeah, should start happening for the majority of guys in 2019 and all of them in 2020.
