In my CHL save, I had my first overall draft pick, who I traded much to get, who was also scoring at a point-a-game pace at the time, retire at 16 after blowing out his elbow. Set the rebuild back quite a bit.

While things like that suck, I love the realism it provides. Just like real life you never know when your player will get hurt or how badly.
