Since you can always find the current talking points and viewpoints of the Democratic Party in the NYT, I disagree. I'm not a Republican, but when I visit right-wing sites they are always attacking the GOP, while leftist sites always love the Democrats. It's asymmetrical.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

Upon urther review

apparently I blew it on the source. I thought the source off the main page on the Edge homepage said attributed to NYT. Looks like it was an MSN blog.

Still a great write up though.

True, and a very nice apology there.

Among other things, I pooh-poohed the "150,000 of them — all real life, career minor league baseball players dating back to 1919" when OOTP 17 was announced. Being a fictional player, this did not ring any bells for me.

But, stepping back a bit and looking at this objectively, it is rather an amazing achievement. The names, career stats, and who knows what other information on 150,000 minor league guys from almost a century, most of whom never even came close to the bigs?

"It's 157,640 players," Kronholm said matter-of-factly. "Half a billion cells of data, pitching, batting and fielding stats."
Mind-boggling.

I may still pooh-pooh this feature, but I am respecting the hell out of it, too.

The leftist sites love the Dems? You haven't been looking at the same ones I have, I guess. You'll find plenty of anti-Hillary (or, as they sometimes call her, Corporate Shill-ary) sentiment on those.

The corporate media, whether GOP or Democrat, ALWAYS have their "chosen ones"...whether or not it's the same as the ones the voters actually want. And the non-corporate sites will invariably be for whatever candidate the corporate types AREN'T for, left or right wing. Methinks the voters on both sides may just have had enough of being told who to vote for, thus why Trump is doing so well, and why Sanders is doing better than the media would have us believe...but we shall see, I guess.

But enough of this, before the Wolf gets blamed for derailing another thread that somebody else (namely, me) derailed.
