What does AI know?

When holding a historical draft, how much does that AI know about the players it is drafting? When I ran a draft in 1969, it took Reggie Jackson first and made other solid choices, but was that simply because they had high ratings or does it factor in the real-life careers these players end up having.
Guys like Dusty Baker weren't rated that highly in '69, but I knew he was going to have a good career.

Check the box "Use pre-defined draft value for AI" and it won't be quite as clueless when it comes to the draft. You will always have the edge in terms of being able to see into the future, but you'll give it some of that edge back for the draft.
