Preparing Leagues in OOTP16 for play in OOTP17

This is my plan for now(except for Historical Minor Leagues).


I have a 200 plus team USA Baseball League to prepare plus I will need a 200 plus Triple A League that I need to start from scratch.


I would rather do it this way so I don't waste time doing it later. I guess there shouldn't be any problems importing the Leagues.

Can we add historical minors to a historical replay in progress, or do we need to start a new game?

To get those automatically, you'd need to start a new game. However, everything is there to allow you to manually import everything you need using text files.

The quickest and easiest way to do it would be to create a new game with the historically affiliated minors year that you want. Set and delete what you need to and then save it as a template and import the template to your existing game. Just make sure to backup or make a copy of your saved games folder of your existing game first just in case.
The whole process is quite easy, would take about an hour or so, and completely worth it if that's what one wants.
