Steam Cloud?

OOTP 17 will be my first OOTP game. I'm a huge fan of baseball and sims so I'm really looking forward to it. I do have a question though, I tend to play my steam games on multiple computers at different locations. Lately I've been playing a ton of Football Tactics because I can play the same game on any computer I'm at as long as I log into my steam account. Is this feature available in OOTP 17? I'd prefer not to have 3 or 4 different leagues going depending on what computer I'm at. Thanks, and looking forward to the game

Steam cloud is not an option at this time.

We will eventually look into that, but files are fairly large at this point so it won't be an option.

If you want to play your same game, there are ways to try that. You can either copy/save your games to a flash drive and carry that with you, or I think people have tried keeping their save game in a dropbox folder, which you can keep synced between machines.

The flash drive thing is okay for awhile, but by the time your save is 30K files and 0.8G in size, it becomes a real hassle. I used to have the data folder on a flash drive so that I didn't have to transfer files. I could just plug the flash drive in and start OOTP and it would work. The downside to this is the speed of the game really suffers running off a flash. Eventually I just designated one of my laptops as my OOTP machine and stopped machine hopping.
One thing that would help would be if you could set a network drive as the data location. That way folks with cloud drives could just keep their data on the cloud drive, or you could keep the data on a desktop computer and point your mobile computers to that location.

The game badly needs Steam play, Steam head to head, and Steam
leagues.

According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.
