I hope Markus goal is to eventually have graphics like The Show. That would be awesome.

Graphics are nice, but the underpinnings are much more important. I've been playing video games for 40 years and most of my favorite games had minimal graphics and superior logic and gameplay.

However, if OOTP had The Show's graphics and RTTS mode... well I'd probably never leave the house again

I do not believe that Markus end goal is for animation like the show. I think, ball flight correct player positioning during plays (Cutoff men, backups, bunt defense, shifts) are more important. If you as a manager can see the positioning of the defense etc you can make better play calls.

Of course this goes without saying.

I prefer gameplay FAR and away above pretty graphics. Eye candy only lasts a week or so. Great gameplay lasts forever.

Exactly why OOTP is so brilliant. It's a well-designed simulation.

I don't leave the house much as it is, don't give me reason to go out even less. How long until Opening Day?

No one here disputes the simulation is the main aspect. But we've had that. If you want to argue about them including 3D take it elsewhere.

but since they offered it this is, it is 100% valid to expect to see a representation of a feature they committed to. It's not whining or entitlement. It's just normal intelligent consumer behavior.

Sheesh fan boys, get a grip.

I was thinking more of "impatience" but you may have a point.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.
