Pitchers being awarded Hitter of the Year

I have a historical sim (which has been imported from 15 to 16 to 17) in which the Hitter of the Year Award is being won by pitchers.

It seems like both hitters and pitchers are being considered for the HOY. For example, Walter Johnson won Pitcher of the Year, with Rube Waddell in 2nd and Noodles Hahn in 3rd, but Johnson also won HOY, with Honus Wagner 2nd and Noodles Hahn in 3rd.

Johnson's batting line was .122/.182/.179 over 123 AB, so he's definitely not being evaluated on his hitting (plus the email that comes with the notification of his winning the HOY lists his pitching accomplishments.)

This has happened three times in nine seasons.

Out of curiosity...do you have the MVP award set for "Pitchers can win"?

If so rename the award.

I should say, if you have it named "Hitter of the Year" and you have "Pitchers can win" checked, it'll treat it like an MVP award.
