I just downloaded and was going to install the 2016 AIO mod but now I'm glad I didn't. Why were the USA Independent League teams NOT updated?

Missing caps, jerseys and logs are:

• Great Bend Boom
• Salina Stockade
• Topeka Train Robbers (formerly Las Vegas)
• Tucson Saguaros
• New Britain Bees
• Texas Air Hogs (formerly Grand Prairie)

Now, yes, there are the OLD stuff, but why release a new mod that's meant for the old version of OOTP? It doesn't make any sense.


I really do think that those of us who look so very forward to the new updated stuff like the caps, jerseys and logos rightfully deserve an explanation for this unacceptable mod.

You really think that people who donate their time and energy to make mods for free owe you an explanation for why they haven't completed all new mods for an all new season immediately upon release of a brand new version of the game

No not just me but all of us who expected these mods to be updated. As I said, why release the mod now if it wasn't completed?

By the way, you are forgetting that I was once a member of the Beta team and I did help create numerous missing facegens.

I used to volunteer my time to help make sure our awesome customers got the best baseball sim game and mods to go with it.

I respectfully disagree with you. As a former OOTP volunteer, I still expect our awesome customers to get the very best game and mods. And when they don't - which is very few and very far between, I will speak up for whatever shortcoming)s) there are.

Both sides are wrong and right. Bowtie has every right to expect only the finest from the greatest game on Earth. However he has no right to complain about it. On the other hand, everyone else has every right to be upset about someone complaining about volunteers not delivering on something. Entitled? I know that this will be very hard to believe but me no. I'm trying to put others ahead of myself here. I am very disappointed that a bit more thought wasn't put into this part of the AIO mod. If they didn't have time to make the new stuff, then just don't include the old in with the other new mods.

All they had to do was just release the mod without the Indy league stuff.

Here's a solution to make sure the mod makers don't slack off and meet your deadlines. All those mad at the mod makers should come together put their money together then put all the mods guys on payroll. Then now that they a are getting laid you can give them projects and deadlines. And if you don't like those work you can fire them since you pay thier salary

I don't see how you expect them to have time to put into making higher quality mods if that is the compensation package you have chosen to give them.

I'm trying to take the road with no response but I have to say this:

YOU should be thankful that with MLB and MLBPA licensing that they allow the guys to have foreign and independent leagues not licensed by the Commissioner's Office with written consent of Major League Baseball.

YOU should know that the ones who design the caps, logos, and jerseys do it on their OWN free time. They do not get paid to do it.

If YOU want to complain so badly, be thankful this message board is PG/PG-13 because other places (reddit, FVSports, GDS) wouldn't be so kind to you.

Instead of sounding off, maybe YOU should look in the mods, under Logos, Graphics. That's what I did when I noticed that Great Bend, Salina, Tucson, and New Britain was not there. I also remembered that two of the four CPBL teams might not be there as well. Did I make a post about it? No. I simply searched my OOTP downloads (on an external drive....there's a LOT) and when I did not have them, I pulled up the annual "changes to uniforms" thread that I've normally started every off-season except this year.

Be thankful you even GET to apply the actual logos, caps, and jerseys for said teams.
