JD Martinez starts 2016 with 3.047 years of service when actually he should start with 4.036.

I thought it was weird when he was going to arbitration when his current contract expired that was supposed to buy out all the arb years.

This and other players with this problem are either fixed in latest patch or being worked on by Andreas. Nothing we can do about it.

Kelby Tomlinson has no second base rating, even though he played all but one of the games he appeared in last year there. It seems like he should have a rating at least equal to his short rating at second.

Raffy Ozuna on the Cardinals does not have a defensive position rating for SS. I went into Editor on Commissioner Mode and tried to change the exp., but it still would not calculate the resulting rating.

You need to turn off scouting to get the game to immediately recognize editor changes

small thing I just noticed is Roberto Osuna's missing his saves from last season. He had 20 saves and It says he had none in 2015.

Also I saw it mentioned earlier in the thread about Dalton Pompey being from Mississauga as opposed to Mississauga Beach, and how Mississauga isn't in the database but when I use the editor if I clear his city and search Mississauga both Mississauga, Ontario and Mississauga Beach show up.

Just noticed on the Red Sox Chris B. Young, the OF, has the 2014 season stats of the other Chris Young, the pitcher for Seattle that year. Chris B. Young was not on Seattle that year.

The Hartford Yard Goats play in Hartford CT, not New Britain CT.

The Delmarva Shorebirds play in Salisbury MD, not Salisbury NC.

The Greenville Drive play in Greenville SC, not Greenville NC.

The Kansas City T-Bones play in Kansas City KS, not Kansas City MO.

The Sussex County Miners play in Augusta NJ, not New York NY.

On 2016 Cubs, Schwarber should be rated as a catcher, Soler should be able to play LF as well as RF, Zobrist should be able to play 3B, Baez should be able to play 1B and all 3 OF spots, Bryant should be able to play LF and RF.

Red Sox' Travis Shaw's defense rating at 3rd base needs some adjusting. Red Sox say his defense won him third base job over Sandoval.

Do you have the latest patch as Andreas and I fixed the saves problem awhile ago.

Yeah but he could be the 2nd worst defender at 3B in baseball and still beat out Sandoval based on defense

I think he's fine as is for now. We'll see how things go and maybe make an adjustment later.

Soler has yet to play an Inning at any other position than RF in the majors or minors. Zobrist has played 8 games in a long MLB career at 3b and only 9 games many years ago in the minors. Baez has played exactly 1 inning at 1b in his entire career and he's also never played an inning of OF according to Baseball reference.

I realize Maddon loves playing guys all over the place, but until they actual begin playing those positions, we'll leave the defensive ratings as they are for now.

Kansas city Royals roster, a few things I will try to make a case for

scouting turned off, btw. try as I may, my bias likely not turned off I did try and use sources like baseball-reference.com or ESPN to gather info

Dyson - he is going to be playing right field this season, but his defense rating there is awful. of course CF has been his main position, but he has barely played LF more than he has RF (30 games to 17) and the defense rating at LF is way higher. also Dyson showing 4.5 stars, which seems quite high as he has been mainly a pinch runner and defensive sub for his career.

Escobar - positional rankings show him at SS as 28th in the league. ESPN just last week had him ranked as the #10 SS in the league. I don't expect these to correspond exactly, but I wouldn't think there would be that large of a gap. Moustakas and Hosmer also underrated in game compared to ESPN rankings, though by not so much.
BBTN 100: Top 10 at every position

I understand that the Royals don't translate well on the PECOTA/ZIPs thing. and so many ppl say its because of the team chemistry why they do so well. then I look at personality and I see it says Hosmer has a "me first attitude" which I really don't see watching the games, and not sure what is the reason for that assessment?

Wade Davis - positional rankings shows him as #11 closer in the league. is this just because he doesn't have the massive save statistics like most closers? because the last 2 years he has probly been the top or at least top 3 reliever

Lorenzo Cain has played a large number of games at RF in 2014, though only 5 in 2015. still seems a 25 defense rating at RF is low for his ability

popularity ratings - Escobar and Ventura show as "unknown" locally, which is just silly. even Medlen and Hochevar should at least be at Insignificant level, while Escobar and Ventura probly should be at least the next one up (fair?) and Hosmer and Moustakas should probly be better than "Fair" locally

Alex Gordon loyalty at normal. would think since he took a "home town discount" his loyalty might be considered a bit above normal

Salvador perez - similar deal, his loyalty at "low" seems unreasonable, he just extended his contract to 2022

"Perez, the reigning World Series MVP, did not complain about his under-valued deal, which was negotiated by his previous agent, Gustavo Vasquez. But his new agents at the Beverly Hills Sports Council were right to ask for a restructuring."

The morale system is randomly generated (unless they didn't tell anyone it was changed this year ) It would be a MASSIVE undertaking to decide if some random AAA player filling in due to injury has a "High" team leadership skill or not.

Chad Huffman did not make the Detroit Tigers roster on the latest patch (17.5.43), Tyler Collins did. Huffman is with the Tigers' AAA affiliate.

Roberto Hernandez has opted out of his contract with the Jays.

Noticed he was still in the Jays organization with the latest patch. Just thought I'd let you guys know.

Technically not a "correctable" error because it's the in game AI, but perhaps Collins' ratings could be lowered a bit?
