Crashing back since patch

The game was running great...until the 7.37 patch. It crashed a few times out of nowhere while I was simming. After the 7.4 patch though..the game will not run at all now. It crashes when I try to start a Quickstart game, and freezes when I try to start my old league.

Try disabling your virus scanner.

I'll even go one better:

I uninstalled the game, deactivated my virus scanner, redownloaded the game off the page, re-installed it, and tried again....still nothing. Help!

im getting same thing ... was working before, but applied patch and now crashes as soon as i hit play game.

I just downloaded the game on my office computer for first time. Everything works great until I try to play the first game of my season. From game setup/lineup screen, when I click Start Game, it crashes. Same warning as post above me.

Sorry guys, the next patch will hopefully fix this! We are working hard to have it released this weekend.

Please try updating your graphics card drivers, hopefully that helps!

In the meantime, please try this:

Open the settings dialog (File Menu) and for the "Helper Threads"option at the bottom, select "None (Threading disabled)", maybe that helps.

Also, try running the game as admin (on Windows, right-click the OOTP icon -> run as admin) and shut down everything unning in the background. Also try to update your video card drivers.

I think some of the problems weren't caused by the patch. Me thinks the league files became corrupted. Turns out, it only crashed when I'd select one particular Quickstart. Re-did a new league, and everything runs ok.
