Top prospects becoming minor league free agents

After a few years you'll see see 4+ star prospects become minor league free agents every year, even top 100 prospects. These are players with 6 years in the minors that aren't getting resigned by the AI for some reason(prospects who haven't played in the majors will always sign a minor league extension if offered, as far as I know). There are some that will demand a major league contract, if they have a year of service time or so, but many of them will sign a minor league contract.

Attached is an example from the offseason of 2022 (scouting off). $410k demands are only seeking minor league contracts.

Also, if you do happen to check out this save, play it through to preseason and you'll see Manny Machado, perhaps the best player in the league, accept a 1-year, $16.5m contract.
