Check the picks.txt file in the OOTPOU/draft/<league>/<year> directory. It may have a row that is just a hyphen -, or some bad row in there. Delete the bad row, should fix it.

Question 1: baseball.simsportsglobal.com

Question2: It shouldn't have the domain name in there (www.simsportsglobal.com), so it is either ssgbaseball/reports/news/html or reports/news/html, you'll have to play around with it.

Yes, and every single time it's the same players appearing that I deleted. It's driving me a bit crazy.

What's also weird is that when I go to display on SS, the entire draft disappears.

I re-export all of the CSV files in-game and upload to the /cgi-bin/csv folder
I re-export the draft.csv from the draft pool page and upload to the /cgi-bin/OOTPOU/draft/2016/144 folder
I reset the draft
I start the draft over
I clear my cache
I refresh my browser

The same damn players keep appearing as if they are ghosts. Even when I try and just do an auto-pick, it picks a player that isn't even in the draft pool in-game.

I've also tried in a different browser.

How on earth isn't this catching? it makes zero sense, and while I'm certain it's something wrong I'm doing, I'm sure I've followed the README to a T.

thanks i think i had to do that before but its so far in between like yrs i forget the fix lol

I replied via PM, but in case anyone is interested. Almost everything you see in OU is directly from the CSV files. I don't cache anything or store anything, everything is read from the CSV's. So if you see players that are wrong, or ratings, etc., most likely that's coming from the CSV files.

So, the first step is to look at the CSV files in the cgi-bin/csv directory and see if that has the right data. In this case, I'd look at players.csv and see if the old and new draftees are showing up in there. In this case, the old draftee's pretty much have to be (OU doesn't cache anything, so what it displays is what's in the CSV files), so you need to figure out why the CSV is wrong. Did you copy to the wrong directory? Did you copy FROM the wrong directory? etc.

Thank you. I do see those old ones in the players.csv, and what I'm thinking I need to do is delete these guys who are listed as "league 0" as they are deleted from the draft pool, but still floating around like ghosts.

I'll give this a try.

This might be impossible to fix. There seems to be no way to stop these deleted guys from appearing in the csv file, and there's no way that I can see to differentiate between a guy deleted from the draft and is still showing, to a newly generated draftee.

I had thought by sorting by league ID 144 and then deleting the guys who appear to be showing something different (such as 'deleted' or something like that) would work, but there's no way to differentiate between the two draft classes.

Not sure why OOTP is still reading guys I manually deleted (all 1400+ of them).

This might be an OOTP 17 bug? Deleted players should be deleted, and removed from CSV files.

for scouting league using 20-80 ratings what ratings csv is to be uploaded ? I have a client that im helping out . on his draft page it doesnt show any ratings for his players at all .

Question about draft-eligibility: Running a modern MLB game, the OOTP:OU draft list includes players that are not listed as draft-eligible in-game. Is there a way to fix this? Should the commissioner use the draft_eligible_players.csv file rather than the draft.csv?

Draft.csv is nothing more than the order and picks, it contains no information about players. Did you upload new reports/files and upload new .csv files after getting to the draft? The draft_eligible_players.csv should contain the correct players, but the utilities should pick all the players up on it's own if you have properly updated all the files on the server

I am not the commish of the league, just trying to do some research to help him out. Not sure if he did all those things. I'll forward this to him though.
