Injury issue in historical tournament setting
I am currently siming a historical simulation tournament -- King of Cards
Here is the link: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ml#post4031156 Anyway, I have run into a situation where players should be out with injuries at the start of the series but be available a few games in. The format I am using is, I set the lineups before each game, but sim it from there. Is there any way, I can keep the computer from playing these "injured" players, other than keeping off the roster at the start of the series, thus making them unavailable for the entire series. Here is an example, the 1967 Cardinals have a reliever in Ron Willis, who based on an injury he received in the quarterfinal round should be out for five days. This means he should miss the first three games of the semifinal round. How can I prevent the CPU from pitching him in the first three games? Any help would be appreciated. |

The obvious way would be to go into the editor and injure those players.

Yup! Go into the manager office and screen and make yourself the commissioner. Then go look at any player and there will be the ability to edit them.
