Paul Russel 1894 St. Louis Brown Stockings
Another missing player, Paul Russell 1894 St. Louis Brown Stockings. His given name was Benjamin Paul Sheeder and he went by that all his life, except for during his baseball career.
Here he is pictured as an old man in the February 10, 1953 Pottstown Mercury

Very odd to hear this, just this morning, I came across this photo and emailed it to my brother. It's from the Mets' second win ever - they homered 5 times.
Hickman looks like a kid here. Rest in peace. |

Nice shot of Bill Latham, who pitched briefly for the Mets and Twins. Found at the Trading Card Database, and taken from a 1985 Barry Colla postcard.

Lost Vault Folder Found?
Working on some photos today, I found a nice TV version of Fred Norman on the 1970 Cardinals, noticed that it was from a folder labeled "TT" and that it had been on my hard drive since April, 2008.
I searched this thread and saw that as recently as 2012, Simarc's colorized version of Norman on St. Louis was still in use, so I suspect that the TT folder might be something of a find. No idea, really. You guys please tell me. I have about 120 or so photos marked TT. They're mostly in the M to O alphabetic range. They include players such as Norman (both Fred and Dan), Gene Michael, John O'Donoghue, Don McMahon, Syd O'Brien, Gary Nolan, Dick Nold, Joe Nolan, Don Nottebart and Joe Nossek, among others, including unidentified shots. The numbers I see are mostly in the 600 through 900 range. Anyway, since these are not watermarked, I won't post anything unless it gets the blessing.
