Windows 10 Shuts down program

OOTP17 has mostly been working fine, but when I get to a year end and simulate past December 31, Windows shuts down the program while it is "Scouting players". It looks like Windows thinks the program has stopped working (but it's really just thinking). Anyway to fix this? I've been looking for a setting in windows to allow programs to run longer when it looks like they are not working, but no luck so far.

It is a W10 feature it will be a good as W7 in 3 or so Service Packs
