AI use of low minors

The AI often will place veteran minor league players (even guys in their 30s) onto the rosters of A-ball and below teams. While there may be some precedent for a rehabbing player going to the complex rookie leagues to get some innings or ABs before heading back to AAA, there is no precedent for one going to the Dominican Summer League. I noticed a 31 year old American catcher on one's roster, and many more advanced minor leaguers (guys at A- or above, who never appeared in the DSL) on DSL rosters throughout the recent season I simmed. Even Brett Anderson, a major league pitcher, appeared in 3 games there this year (rehab assignment?), completely unrealistic.

Sorry to complain, but I think this undermines what is otherwise a realistic minor league simulation.

I play with roster limits, FYI. I realize this could complicate things, but my point still stands.

Use of age limits can help here. I use no age limits for AAA & AA, 24 for A+, 23 for A, 22 for A- & Short Season A, 21 for R.
