Game won't advance because of issue with computer-controlled team

I am in June 2016 of my Cardinals dynasty and after playing a game against the Seattle Mariners, I went to move on to the next game, when I got the message "New York A W (GCL) has an illegal number of players on active roster! (5)
Problem is, I am letting the CPU run in the Yankees.
I try to resolve it, but it won't let me since I do not control the Yankees.
But it looks like the game is going to refuse to move forward until the issue is resolved.

Either turn on ghost players or fill the minors with fictional players.

I highly recommend using ghost players for the fix. Fictional players might unbalance the game in favor of teams with large minor league systems.
