Trading in historical mode

So i have started many saves, in various years, with The Sharks.
But i am yet to have been offered a single trade from any other team.
When you played in historical in the stream you guys got offered a trade, if i recall it right.

Is this a bug?
Is this because Sharks are a really bad team from the start?
Is it because i sometimes have commissioner mode activated?

At first i tought it was because i sim quite long times at the time.
But now in the last save i simmed one day at a time, and yet no tradeoffers from other managers.

I am both Gm and Hc

The easiest way to test it would be to put several (say, 6 or 7) players you don't really need on the trading block, then sim for a while (making sure you don't have the setting to exit auto-play when you get a trade offer turned off.) That tends to generate offers pretty quickly, where it may take a while longer if you're not making anyone available. I assume you're seeing other teams making trades with each other? As long as that's happening, you should be getting offers eventually; when the AI makes a trade offer it doesn't consider if it's to a human or another AI team, they all look alike to it and are covered by the same system.

And like you said, one possible issue might be the strength of your team. As the early Sharks you may not have much on your roster that's interesting to other teams. Trading block should overcome that; that's how Adam and I got an offer in our Twitch game despite playing as the pathetic first-year Senators.

I have never bothered to put all the crap players on the tradeblock.
But as soon as i did it, i got some offers.
