Game crashes in the 19th century

Hi,

I've been wanting to do a historical sim from 1871-present, but whenever I start in the 19th century, the game crashes in the second year. When I started in 1871 it would crash in 1872, so I started in 1873 and it crashed in 1874.

Is there a known fix for this or should I just wait for OOTP 18?

Do you get an error message or is it a CTD?

It's just been crashing to desktop.
